Brian doing well

Thank you for reading our blog.  I really appreciate all the messages of encouragement.  I have been telling Brian about them, but it will be a blessing for him to read them when he gets home.  Brian is doing really well--anxious to get home.  He will be there at least through Tuesday.  They are doing a couple of procedures Monday and Tuesday and then he can go home Wednesday--possibly even Tuesday night (assuming all continues to go well.)  We feel so supported and loved.  Brian was able to walk down the hall yesterday and then walk out to the waiting area to spend a little time with Malakai (now 8 weeks old.)  We shared a hospital meal for our anniversary--it was very sweet.  He is in good spirits today.  I am feeling a little overwhelmed with the housework and cranky kids, but my kids need a more normal day at home today.  My mom and brother are here helping out and Brian's sister is on her way over as well with her little one.  I still can't believe all that has happened in the last few days, but I know God is good and his hand is truly on our family.

Hi Brian, I probably haven't seen or talked to you since high school, but Steve Cox gave me the heads up about what has happened. I knew you were smart and athletic, but I had no idea you were also great at cheating death :-). I'm a bit late to the party on this, but Im glad to hear that you are recovering quickly. I hope you have a great Father's Day With your family today. Your wife is doing a great job while you're recovering & I know that you and your family will tackle anything life throws your way. Take care!

Yay! So glad for the continued good news! Julie, I told Tim to add me to the list for helpers, so please don't hesitate to include me. I would love to bring you guys a meal, watch kid(s), or even do laundry if that would help. I absolutely mean it!

Happy Father's Day, Brian. Wow. Just can't tell you how thankful we are to hear that you are doing well and feeling good. We are speechless, grateful, tearful with joy as we rejoice with you. Julie, I found a place that will deliver meals and there are people who want to donate, so let me know when you are ready! No pressure, just know it is available:) Blessings to you. God is so good and we are so thankful for you.

Dear Julie and Brian,
I am so happy to hear the good news! I know Brain from COP in Alaska and pass in the halls every now and again in Houston. I was in the gym when everything happened. It was all very scary, but I was amazed how quickly Stephanie and Cheryl responed from the gym to help save Brian's life. My thoughts have been with you, I have been following the blog and I am thrilled to hear the wonderful news. Brian - keep up the good work so you can get home faster!

What an amazing anniversary and Father's day you must have had. We are thankful and happy beyond words to know that you are recovering in every way. We are keeping the Buck family in top priority in our prayer time each night and will be certain to get in some visiting whenever we make it to Houston next.

We are praying for you all...What a testimony to the grace and power of our God. Your story reminds Chad and me how precious life is and how special this time is with our little ones. We are so glad your Julie still has her husband and your babies still have their Daddy! And maybe with all the brain stuff you will have a new and better sense of humor! :)
