Home Sweet Home!

Happy Father's Day!

The Anniversary Dinner. . .

Happy Anniversary!

Brian is home!  He had a couple of procedures yesterday--a closer look at his heart and then the installation of an AICD, Automatic Internal Cardioverter Defibrillator (or something like that.)  They had to recheck the device today and then released him to go home.  We will be taking it easy for a couple of weeks (at least) and enjoying some family time.
I can't even begin to describe the emotional roller coaster this week has been, but through it all we can see God's hand.  We continue to trust in God's plan for us.  Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers--God heard and answered.  We are so thankful.

"Through sickness and health" has a WHOLE new meaning for us this past week after watching how God's road for you guys turned and weaved. Praise the Lord for health once again! Such a blessing to be friends with you both. Being able to witness not only your beautiful union at your Oregon wedding a few years back and to now watch you walk through this new season as well, you guys make us so thankful for your friendship. This is awesome news! I can't imagine all the emotions you've been through this past week. May God continue to pour out his grace upon you and your family. We'll continue to pray that his healing hand be upon you. Please pray for healing for our son Tim and that God will guide us in the difficult decisions ahead. God bless.

Dear Aubrey and Malakai:
WOW! How awesome that your daddy is home already! He is so tough! Our mommy and daddy have told us all about how amazing your dad is, how strong your mommy has been, and how incredible our God is. They say God did a miracle! We are so excited, and we know your family has great things ahead. We will keep praying for you guys! We love you and can't wait to have our family play with your family and to celebrate God's blessings!

Dear Brian and Julie and family,

I am one of the staff members that reponded to Brian's emergency last week and I am so relieved and overjoyed to hear about Brian's progress and recovery. So many prayers have been said on our end, as well, and we are all thanking God for such a wonderful blessing.

Please know that my life has been changed because of last week's occurrences and I am looking at the world, my family, and life through appreciative eyes.

I know God will continue to bless your family and we are looking foward to seeing Brian when he returns.

Wow, awesome! We are continuing to pray and pray and pray. I am sure there is so much processing going on right now, but I hear and see your faith holding you up through each step. Oh Julie, you are such an encouragement.
Craig really liked the way Brian answered the phone when he called on Friday. That made me laugh! You are an amazing family, may you continue to grow stronger and stronger in the Lord and cling to Him with each step. Blessings, Steph

Such great news! I heard about Brian's sudden health issues from Stephen (Cox), who I saw last week. (Brian and I went to high school together). It was so shocking to hear about Brian's condition, but I'm INCREDIBLY THRILLED that things seem to be turning a corner!! Your faith in God and in your beautiful family has clearly been an amazing source of strength during such a difficult time - you are so brave! All the best to you, Brian and the little ones. I am confident that more good news is in store for your family!

Hey B-Buck and Julie,
We just got news of the past weeks events for you all. Brian--Our prayers are with you for a quick and complete recovery. We praise God you are still here to laugh with. Julie--your faith is unstaggering. Your blogs bring me to tears and I am inspired to trust our God completely. I am sure you had many very intimate times with Jesus this past week. Your children are precious. We love the name Malakai--I can't think of a better name for your son. We will continue to keep you in our prayers.
